What is up yo? (yea, felt like really saying it out instead of wassup yo). You might have already watched this or maybe you haven’t but whatever the deal is, it’s always good to share some love and laughs. Yes, laughter is the best medicine. I watched this a couple of times already and it still gives me the giggles I tell you. Now who said that most of em’ stars have got no sense of humor.
This guy can come of as quite a snob, the 1st time you look at him. Yea, unfortunately some of us have that face and yes I speak for myself too :P .. but I think once you’ve watched this 2 videos below you’re perception might change that’s if you had one lah. My perception has definitely changed, not only because he’s got an awesome sense of humor but also that one line that he uses “what can I say mate, its my roots” .. truly a good man if he believes in roots. Yeah yeah! Managed to score some behind the scenes again ya'll. Ok lah, I might be lying here, not so exclusive behind the scenes but at least I was there. Even tho you've probably watched it from the various uploads on youtube, what's one more view right? (that's me forcing/begging you to watch my video ;P) And this is also for the benefit of you who couldn't be there.
In the words of my co-worker, from our sister station HotFM, Leya, "I can now die happy" simply because we saw this guy live in person and rocked to awesome REAL rock. WHUDDUP! So if you thought that only Ryan Seacrest could give you someone ‘from the scene’ footage, you thought wrong. Cheeehhwaahh..! ok, just mucking around. But seriously, the title of this blog could actually be a new TV show. Don’t you think? Producers reading this, take note.
Anyway, I know its all over now after almost 16 weeks on 8TV but I must say and I know that you agree with me that SHOWDOWN 2010 was havoc. Awesome show with a kick a$$ host. Our very own Hafiz, and of course mad love to the entire cast and crew of SHOWDOWN 2010. A job well done.
I managed to be at a few ‘showdowns’ as the Quickie did go live from the venue too but it was the finals that really took everything to the next level. If you’re following me on www.twitter.com/premosupremo you probably would have seen me tweet about what was happening at SHOWDOWN 2010. The arguments, fights and of course the shouts but when it came to the finals, it was havoc like I said.
Congrats to WAKAKA for winning it, and also big ups to Floor Fever and Giller Battle Crew for making it to the finals. I not gonna blabber on how awesome these crews were but my ‘from the scenes’ videos shall explain it all. Do focus on Wakaka’s entry and Floor Fevers ‘prop use’ for the finals of SHOWDOWN 2010.
